Ensuring Discipline Contributes to a School Culture that Serves All Students - Including Students with Disabilities
This presentation comes from a session presented at the Discipline Convening on Expanding Positive School Climates in the Charter School Sector.
Fostering positive school climates and restorative approaches to discipline can support and affect all students. This town hall-style session addressed how a school's approach to discipine creates an inclusive and integrated approach, which ensures all students are served and supported well. This session explored the aspects of school design that go beyond compliance, to discuss larger programmatic and implementation issues in school and, more importantly, the change of mindset.
