MathCON Competition 2018

Event Description

MathCON is a nonprofit national mathematics organization that hosts the nationally acclaimed MathCON student math competition annually, open to all students (including home-schoolers) in grades 5-12. The two-round competition consists of an online competition and an in-person Finals round for qualifying students. The 45-question, 45-minute grade-level specific online test can be taken any time between Jan. 22 - March 2, 2018. Qualifying students from the online competition will be invited to compete in the finals held on May 5, 2018 in Chicago, Ill. 

MathCON has grown into a nationally recognized competition with more than 50,000 students registered last year and more than 200,000 students total since it was founded in 2008. Last year, 576 students advanced to the finals. Competition questions are written by accomplished academic staff from schools and universities nationwide. 

One registration per school includes an unlimited number of students, or register a student individually.
