Samsung's Solve for Tomorrow is a nationwide competition designed to boost interest and proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It challenges teachers and students in grades 6-12 to show how STEM can be applied to help their communities. Up to 100 semi-finalists are selected from all applications received. Of these, 10 are selected as national finalists, and the winner is then selected by a panel of judges. Semi-finalists each receive a $15,000 prize package of Samsung technology and class resources. Finalists receive a $65,000 prize package and the winner receives a $130,000 prize package.
