UPDATE: Dept. of Ed. Public Comment Extended Through April 18, 2022
UPDATE: Today the U.S. Department of Education (ED) released for public inspection an extension notice for "Proposed Priorities, Requirements, Definitions, and Selection Criteria: Expanding Opportunity through Quality Charter Schools Program: Grants to State Entities; Grants to Charter Management Organizations for the Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools," which was published in the Federal Register on Monday, March 14, 2022. The proposed rule addresses the State Entities (SE), Charter Management Organizations (CMO), and Grants to Charter School Developers (Developer) Grant Programs. Through this extension, notice ED will continue to welcome public comment on the proposed new rule through Monday, April 18, 2022.
