U.S. Department of Education Announces Priorities for Charter School Programs Grants
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has released for public inspection its proposed priorities, requirements, definitions, and selection criteria for upcoming Charter School Programs (CSP) grants. The scheduled publish date for the actual notice in the Federal Register is Monday, March 14, 2022.
The proposed rule addresses the State Entities (SE), Charter Management Organizations (CMO), and Grants to Charter School Developers (Developer) Grant Programs.
ED welcomes public comment on the proposed new rule through Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Submit your comments through the Federal eRulemaking Portal or via postal mail, commercial delivery, or hand delivery. Comments cannot be accepted through fax or email, or after the comment period closes.
