Today marks the conclusion of National Charter Schools Week, recognizing 30 years of impact of the U.S. Department of Education’s Charter Schools Program (CSP). As celebrations wrap up across the country, the Department is pleased to share the release of four additional Notices Inviting Applications (NIA) for CSP grant programs. In announcing the release of NIAs for CSP’s six grant programs, the U.S. Department of Education also shared CSP funding will increase by $60 million this Fiscal Year. Read Press Release
The NIAs released this week include:
- Grants to Charter Management Organizations for the Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools (CMO)
- Grants to Charter School Developers for the Opening of New Charter Schools and for the Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools (Developer)
- Grants for Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities
- Grants for Model Development and Dissemination
