Apples to Apples: Common School Performance Frameworks as a Tool for Choice and Accountability
Performance Frameworks have emerged as an key “best practice” in the charter sector. People from various perspectives are working together in some cities to develop Common School Performance Frameworks (CSPFs), that provide consistent information to charter school authorizers making school oversight decisions, as well as to families choosing schools for their children, charter operators, local districts, and other stakeholders. This report from CRPE is meant to be a resource for education leaders, including charter school authorizers, school and network leaders, and others, who are considering creating and using a CSPF.
