Welcome to the National Charter School Resource Center (NCSRC) Newsletter!

NCSRC is back!

First, a brief reintroduction: the NCSRC is an initiative of the U.S. Department of Education’s Charter School Programs (CSP), the grant-making body for the charter school grant programs housed in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE). The NCSRC is the central hub for expert technical assistance and high-quality resources for CSP grantees and the charter sector as a whole.

Second, thank you for the privilege of your inbox. We promise we will treat it with respect and deliver useful, high-quality, and important charter school content every quarter. If you like what you see, tell us. Something missing? Let us know. Just want to chat with some charter school and technical assistance experts? Drop us a line here

Third, in this and future newsletters you can expect a variety of useful resources, including best practices, grantee profiles, and expert interviews. We will also share reports, tools, and events from NCSRC and our partners. Topics will include grant management strategies, charter school facilities, replication and expansion, school improvement throughout the charter lifecycle, and others. (Including newsletter names – please vote for your favorite below!)

There is something for everyone and for every corner of the charter sector.

Let’s get started.
