2022 Charter School Programs Pre-Application Webinars

On July 6, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education released Notices Inviting Applications (NIAs) for the Charter School Programs' (CSP) State Entity (SE) and Developer grants. Applications are due August 5. On July 22, 2022, the NIA for the National Dissemination grant was released and applications are due August 22. Grant awards will be announced before the 2023 fiscal year begins on October 1. The NIA for Charter Management Organization (CMO) grants were announced on November 15. The Notice of Final Priorities (NFP) for the SE, Developer and CMO grants have also been released. 

CSP has pre-recorded webinars to help organizations understand the components of CSP applications and CSP’s priorities for charter school grantees. The webinars are available below. In addition, the live webinars that were hosted for each grant competition can be found below with copies of the slides and transcripts of each webinar.

Informational Webinars by Grant Type

In July 2022, the Charter School Programs (CSP) held live webinars to introduce the Notices Inviting Applications (NIAs) for the CSP's State Entity (SE)Developer, and National Dissemination grants.

These webinars addressed the competitions’ eligibility requirements, priorities, selection criteria, and application. The webinars also addressed the steps required to complete the Grants.gov registration process before the August application deadlines.
