This session was presented during the 2021 CSP Project Directors’ Meeting in February 2021. Grantees explored a risk-based approach to ensuring successful project outcomes, fiscal accountability, and establishing strong internal controls. They were exposed to key resources and practices to administer their grant project, including a review of the U.S. Department of Education’s programmatic and financial policies, how to implement Uniform Guidance, and how to make project revisions. They heard how to avoid audit problems and gain an understanding of implementing internal controls. The objective of this session was to ultimately ensure successful project outcomes in CSP grants.
