Description: The NCSRC, funded through a contract from the US Department of Education’s Charter Schools Program (CSP), hosted this interactive webinar. The webinar is intended for staff from State Educational Agencies (SEAs) who administer grants under the U.S. Department of Education’s (ED) Charter School Program (CSP). During this webinar,

  • Amy Huber, CSP SEA program officer, discusses the recently released Dear Colleague Letter, which covered fiscal monitoring responsibilities such as monitoring and oversight of CSP subgrantees and authorizers, including expectations for monitoring and oversight in the context of charter school closures. In this letter, the Department provided guidance to CSP SEA grantees in these areas and highlighted key provisions of the Uniform Guidance that relate to CSP grants to SEAs
  • Alex Medler, from the NCSRC shares:
    • Resources, publications, and videos produced by the NCSRC;
    • Periodic meetings and special events that the NCSRC plans and facilitates for ED;
    • NCSRC technical assistance and tools available to SEA grantees.
