MFA provides effective, low-cost options to finance the acquisition, construction, improvement, or alteration of land, facilities, equipment, the payment of project costs, or to refinance existing debt. Through the Michigan Charter School Credit Enhancement Fund, MFA funds a debt service reserve for bonds and loans that provide financing for the construction, renovation, acquisition ion, and leasehold improvements of charter school facilities.
